These are our public starting prices. Your quote lists each hotel night, guide day, car, train and ticket separately, so you can see what moves the number.

Twin share, four-star hotels, excluding international flights. Larger groups and five-star hotels are quoted individually.

Group trips are per person twin share. Day rates cover 8 hours in the coordinator's home city; travel and accommodation elsewhere are added at cost.
04The fine print
How payment and cancellation work
- Quote first. Every quote is itemised and valid for 14 days. Nothing is booked until you confirm.
- Deposit. 30% of the trip price to confirm. Day guide bookings are paid in full at confirmation.
- Balance. Due 30 days before travel. Bookings made inside 30 days are paid in full.
- How to pay. Card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) or Australian bank transfer. You receive an Australian tax invoice from Mandarin Route Pty Ltd.
- Cancelling a tour. More than 45 days before travel: full refund less any non-refundable hotel or train costs we have told you about. 15 to 45 days: 50%. Under 15 days: no refund. Changes of date are free where suppliers allow.
- Cancelling a guide day. Free up to 7 days before, 50% inside that, 100% on the day.
- Insurance. Travel insurance is a condition of booking a tour. We will ask for the policy name.
The full booking terms apply. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected by any of this.
